Focusing Institute Cologne (FINC)

The Focusing Institute Cologne (FINK) was born out of the need to make Focusing as a core process of living change and communication, creativity and meaningful insight accessible to interested people - lay people as well as professionals.

FINK was founded in 1998 by Astrid Schillings, psychologist, trainer and coordinator of the International Focusing Institute NY in collaboration with Prof. Eugene Gendlin.

In FINK you can learn "Focusing" and "Focusing with the whole body" as self-help, for partnership exchange and as a possibility of deepened self-awareness. After these basics, professionalization as a Focusing facilitator☼in both classical and "Focusing with the whole body" is possible.
By building on this with further training in "Focusing with the Whole Body/Relational Embodiment", you can gain further qualifications and certification as a psychotherapist☼in, counselor☼in, coach☼in, therapist☼in or educator☼in.
